Design Down Under | Baker Home Episode One

Midcentury Modern Makeover in Mentone

Introducing episode 1 for owners of Tilesofezra, Georgia Ezra and Richie Morris' new TV show, Design Down Under! Available now in the US to watch on Magnolia Network on TV, or stream on Max & Discovery plus. In this episode, Georgia and Richie renovate a 1960s Brady Bunch-style house for their clients.

The Baker Home

Designed by Studio Ezra, Georgia leans into the midcentury theme and incorporates unique design ideas using the abundance of natural light to completely transform and elevate the space.

An Ensuite like no other;

The shower and bathroom walls are wrapped in our EZR1550 Latte stacked horizontally, showcasing what we love most about this space - the vast array of soft browns and deep caramel hues. This adds intrigue to a space and speaks to the handmade nature of our tiles.

Nude Neutrals

Echoing the stacked uniformity of the ensuite tiles is our EZCM2050 Nude in the Baker's kitchen. The softest cream shade with a subtle hint of earthy brown.

The Powder Room

A handmade Crazy Pave like no other.... Using a combination of Travertine, EZR1010 Moroccan Pink Zellige, EZR1010 Dust Zellige and EZTZ1010 Nutmeg terrazzo, this crazy pave is dynamic and eye-catching. The different textures and colours really create a special effect, making this powder room an exclusive response for the clients inspired by the 70's.

Subtle Elegance

Coming together, these elements create a dynamic and refined space.
