The homeowners wanted a laundry room that wasn't just practical but also beautiful—a space that felt as inviting as any other room in the house. They drew inspiration from their expansive outdoor surroundings, opting for a colour palette of sandy tones and soft terracotta paired with creamy whites. This earthy scheme not only echoes the natural beauty of the area but also creates a soothing, calm environment.

The Star of the Design

At the heart of this design is our EZR0196 Moroccan Zellige Mosaic in Snow and Clay. From the moment the tiles were selected, they became the driving force behind every design decision. Their handmade quality adds a unique texture and depth, turning the floor into a piece of art. But these tiles aren't just for the floor; they also line the custom-built bathtub, a space designed for both laundry and for rinsing off the family’s little Frenchie, Bennett, after muddy adventures.

Working closely with Martingale Builders, the designers ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly. The result is a space that not only meets the practical needs of the family but also exudes the warmth and artistry of handmade materials. The project, completed in August 2024, now stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship.
