Mission Row - A Collaboration Between TILESOFEZRA and STONE IMPRESSIONS

About the Mission Row Range
Mission Row is a collection named after the street in Calcutta where owner of Tilesofera Georgia father lived until he was in his late teens. The collection is a tribute to both her family history and her enduring connection to India.
Inspired by traditional motifs see, Mission Row draws on the many eras and architectural influences that have shaped India over centuries: the grandeur of the Maharajas and Maharanis, its temples, the layering of the Mughal and British empires, and the craftsmanship, color and storytelling that run throughout the country. Subtle European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern references flow through the collection too, creating designs that feel layered, storied and timeless.
Each original Tiles of Ezra design is printed onto genuine tumbled stone in San Diego, California, by our partners at StoneImpressions, and sealed with a clear, durable protective topcoat. Developed in collaboration with StoneImpressions and refined through the Tiles of Ezra Standard, every tile reflects our commitment to authentic materials, thoughtful design and stories worth carrying forward.
"India has always felt deeply embedded within my identity, and I've always carried an inherent connection to the country and its rich history.
Over the years, I've had significant exposure to traditional block printing, and I've always been drawn to its artistry: the repetition of the motifs, the sense of rhythm, the drama, and the beautiful femininity that runs through so much of Indian design.
The collection is called Mission Row because that was the street my father grew up on in Calcutta. Naming it after such a personal place felt incredibly meaningful, as this collection is, in many ways, a tribute to both my family history and my enduring connection to India."
— Georgia Ezra

The Stones we chose & Why
I wanted the foundation of the collection to feel ancient and timeless, almost as though the pieces had always existed. Tumbled stone carries a softness and quiet beauty that immediately evokes a sense of history.
Because Mission Row's artwork is printed onto natural stone, there is a beautiful duality at play. The artwork itself tells a story, but so does the substrate. The stone is an artwork in its own right, an expression of the earth." — Georgia
Tumbled Botticino
A classic cream stone with a soft, warm tone and gentle veining. Its quieter surface lets each design read clearly, with color sitting crisply on the stone. Choose Botticino for a more refined finish where the pattern takes center stage.
Tumbled Ivory Travertine
Formed over thousands of years from mineral deposits around natural springs, travertine carries signature pits and voids. Its warm ivory tone and organic surface give each design a weathered, lived-in quality. Choose Ivory Travertine for a more rustic, textured look.
Where to use Mission Row: feature walls, kitchen backsplashes, range hood surrounds, bathroom and shower walls, fireplace surrounds, skirtings and light-traffic residential floors.
The making of Mission Row
Every Mission Row tile is designed by Tiles of Ezra and made in the USA by Stone Impressions; a team that has specialized in printed natural stone since 2000.
