European Charm on Australia’s Coast

Inspired by travels through the south of France, Le Jardin is a quaint farmhouse that brings European charm to the Australian landscape. Designed by well-known Australian influencer Lisa Green (@lisadanielle__) and her husband Jamie Green (@jamie_.green), the home reflects their shared love of travel, craftsmanship, and family life. With its thoughtful detailing and timeless material palette, the farmhouse blends rustic authenticity with effortless elegance, creating a sanctuary that feels both personal and poetic.

The Vision: French Charm at Home

The design brief was simple yet ambitious: capture the romance and warmth of a European farmhouse and reimagine it for life in the Northern Rivers. With this vision in mind, the homeowners worked closely with @permastructure and @nod.architect, whose values and creativity aligned seamlessly with their own. The process was collaborative and joyful, resulting in a home that feels deeply connected to both its inspiration abroad and its setting in Australia.

Tiles with Heart and Heritage

Tiles of Ezra’s Amano collection became the natural choice for this project. From the very first glimpse, the sweet blue hand-painted tiles captured the homeowners’ hearts, embodying the rustic elegance they wanted to weave into their home.

For the splashback, EZMANO1010 Brila Azul was selected, its delicate hand-painted quality anchoring the kitchen with warmth and artistry.

Around the sink, a thoughtful combination of EZMANOBRD Flor Azul and EZR1010 Clear Sky Zellige brings texture, colour, and a touch of European nostalgia to everyday rituals.

More than just decorative, the tiles define the home’s character, an honest expression of heritage, craftsmanship, and soul.

Life at Le Jardin

With the build completed in 2023, Le Jardin is home to its creators: a young family of four, plus their beloved cat, Luna. With two little ones, Gigi and Otis, the farmhouse is alive with laughter, play, and the ever-evolving rhythm of family life. Surrounded by a landscape that continues to grow and change, the home stands as a lasting expression of heritage, love, and a touch of European magic.
